A turn-based fantasy combat puzzler about discovering what even happened in some long forgotten ruins and likely pulling your hair out along the way.

Playable in English and Japanese(日本語)!

When an envelope bearing a wax seal of a moth and addressed to her family arrived, Alexandra wasn't really sure what to make of it, but knew the request for her family's aid had to be taken seriously. Contacting her friend and guide Elle, they set out to resolve things, but ended up with far more than they were expecting.

Solve 33 puzzles, repair the magical wards of ruins of a distant past, discover some hints about what happened, and perhaps find more questions than answers in this playable demo of Addlemoth! The game is still under active development.

Primarily the spare-time work of mauve (@mauvecow) to teach himself how to draw pixel art, and also homage an old favorite game series DROD, it got a little out of control and became a full game in its own right. The positively wonderful music of HeavyViper (bandcamp) (@HeavyViper) adds much to the atmosphere, check his works out!

Great game! Immediately caught my attention as a fan of DROD series. Please, keep working on it, it looks and sounds great )

Glad you enjoyed it!

Rest assured, development is proceeding, I've just been really, really swamped this year, so it's been difficult to devote time to it consistently.

this game should not be freee where can i donate

I played through a couple of dozen levels, and I appreciated the puzzle design a lot.  I felt like each level had a fresh hurdle to overcome and the lesson I was supposed to be learning was clearly communicated.  The art is also super cute!

The game is fantastic! I definitely have to think through every level. Thank you!

Wow, what a great puzzle game!

This is really great, especially when it picks up the pace around the second stage. Keep up the good work!

it's a hard work i appreciate this but the game is boring

Definitely felt like I had an advantage as a veteran DROD player when it came time to beat levels without turning the very big sword. :-)

Only thing I think it might have been missing was a save feature?  I think I lost all my progress when I reloaded the page.  But that aside, totally love it.

Huh? Saves work fine here; Correctly persists between sessions on both Firefox and Chromium here. What's your browser?

Firefox (Windows).  I wonder if it's a cookie-setting thing?

Looking around, yeah, specifically the stricter "Cookies from unvisited websites" setting appears to be causing it. Which makes sense because the game is in an iframe on another domain on itch.

I can't do anything about that on my end, unfortunately, but I can confirm that it does work normally.

the sword phase through walls not sure I like it or not
